Adorning the festivities with a radiant, light-footed grace are motifs of cows and banana trees, considered sacred in Hinduism. Each piece is crafted by "karigars"—skilled artisans possessing knowledge and techniques passed down through their families for over three generations.

Each piece of hand-finished embroidery is unique, imbued with the warmth of the artisan’s touch and the story of a small community of painters and embroiderers.
